Female entrepreneurs really do have something to rejoice about according to a recent ‘Forbes’ report, as the number of wealthy women in the U.S. is growing twice as fast as the number of wealthy men. 45% of American millionaires were women and it’s estimated that by 2030, women will control as much as two-thirds of the nation’s wealth. However, we still have some work to do and you can help shatter the glass ceiling for female entrepreneurs by continuing to support women in business.

When it comes to women starting a business, more so than men, it’s usually the fear of not knowing where to start, feeling unsupported and the possibility of failure that kills the dream before it’s even begun.

Therefore, we believe this impressive upswing of female entrepreneurs is largely due to the fact that women genuinely feel more supported. With support comes confidence, resulting in courage to take a risk. Women are now also reaching out more to others, asking for assistance and are beginning to appreciate the importance of networking; realising the bigger and more diverse their network, the bigger their support base and the more likely they are to excel in business.
