Senior Fashion Buyer

Job Overview

Tuchuzy is one of Australia’s principal fashion retailers.

With an iconic retail shop in Bondi, ecommerce website and head offices based in Mascot, Sydney, Tuchuzy is a forerunner in the industry for it’s curation of emerging premium brands. We are currently looking for an additional member to join our growing team as a Fashion Buyer.  

The Role

• Driving sales & growth for a range of fashion brands and product categories
• Working closely with the Creative Director & existing buying team of 3 
• Planning a range selection and product in-line with business needs and analysis of previous best-sellers 
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest and future fashion trends 
• Ensure all ranges purchased reflect the Tuchuzy brand DNA, consumer base and seasonal trends
• Global buying trips quarterly to the hottest fashion destinations
• Report back to team on successes of retail performance of assigned categories / brands, including weekly sales reports

 Requirements

• Previous experience working in a fashion buying role
• Proven experience managing & buying for a large retail portfolio 
• Strong fashion brand knowledge  
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
