About Pierre Winter Fine Jewels
Founded in 2007 by Pierre Winter with a background in fine art and high fashion working with designer names such as Romeo Gigli, Helmut Lang, Norma Kamali in Milan, Stockholm, London, Paris and New York.
Started his own high-end fashion store at the age of 24 with women's fashion and later with a second store with men's fashion in the city of Stockholm.
After relocating to Sydney in 1998, Pierre joined a local auction house. He then took a position with Australia's most reputable jeweller, Fairfax & Roberts (est 1854) as sales manger. Pierre stayed with this house for several years before leaving to start his own company Pierre Winter Fine Jewels.
Pierre Winter Fine Jewels began as a bespoke by-appointment showroom, introducing the first designer collection by Alexis Bittar, which proved to be an instant success with his private clientele.
Today the company has developed, and now includes fine bespoke jewellery, renowned international designers, couture and vintage jewellery alongside cutting edge creatives, exclusive collaborations, impeccably created accessories, home décor and objects that span the globe.
The European-styled boutique in Paddington, Sydney, is a destination for jewellery connoisseurs. With a clientele and following from around the world, the store is continuously adding new designers each season.
Originating from his native country Sweden, a place known for design, comes the prestigious company Skultuna. Established in 1607 by his Majesty King Karl IX of Sweden, Skultuna offers a range of jewellery and objects which can be found in-store.
Housing rare and unique pieces and collections, Pierre Winter Fine Jewels is well worth a visit when in Sydney.
"I see jewellery as an extension of a personality or mood, a little piece of art created for you by some of the best designers and artisans. Jewellery will always intrigue and create interest. You are never dressed without jewellery."
