Job Overview

Pierre Winter Fine Jewels is a multi-brand jewellery store in Paddington Sydney specialising in bespoke, couture, vintage and designer jewellery. We are searching for an e-commerce manager to lead and manage our online store.

Initially, the role will be 1-3 days per week, this position may lead to full time. We are seeking results-driven eCommerce coordinator, the successful candidate will work across all aspects of eCommerce operations with our Paddington based team.

Strong interpersonal skills, self-determination and the ability to work both autonomously, and as part of the operation are essential. As online is a continually growing part of our business, flexibility is vital and the successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player and support where necessary.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Create & publish website assets including banners, images, promotions etc. for display on the website (Photoshop essential) social media and marketing purpose to brief and to schedule.
• Follow design brief and schedule to deliver strong digital marketing EDM campaigns (Including those in line with the e-commerce strategy to increase brand awareness, online customer acquisition, and conversion) (MailChimp).
• Skills and knowledge with photography and lighting – preferably studio eComm product.
• Providing end to end support for the eCommerce experience across our website.
• Following product upload schedule for site uploads & online merchandising.
• Update & publish product information and content on the website.
• Writing product specifications and editing SEO descriptions for the online store.
• Editing, cataloguing and uploading product images.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL POSSESS:

• Proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc) Photography skills.
• Exceptional organisational & time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS preferable but not essential 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position is essential.
• Experience working with Shopify and Mail Chimp preferable.
• A graphic design background.
• Strong interest in high-end fashion and jewellery.
• Working directly with the owner on content.
• Communicate with suppliers.
• Uploading new product images and descriptions.
• Content creation, including blogs and newsletters.
• Drive traffic to the website.
• Some print design work.
